Entrance is FREE, it’s Andy’s birthday celebration and there are some great bands on the line-up.

The Kokos will be onstage around 9:30pm

Simple maths int’it!

As usual The Kokos rocked the joint, despite the early start! Many Thanks to everyone who came along and supported us. It was great to see so many different groups of people there and from all over the country! We loved staying for a drink and chatting to everyone and watching a few good (… and a few more not so good) bands.

We should be receiving a video of the whole show wish we will post up here in due course… until then take a sneaky peek at the video here… enjoy!

VERY IMPORTANT SUPERMASSIVE BIG GIG!

On Sunday 25th October 2009, we have been asked to play at the O2 Islington Academy (yup.. the main venue, not the little bar venue). It is part of a showcase event that is taking place and we will be onstage sometime between 6-8pm (more details nearer the time).

The industry guest list is very impressive, featuring people from Sony, RCA, Independiente, NME and Kerrang! and a whole host of other music industry types. The gig is also being filmed and and recorded.

It’s early on a Sunday night and it would mean a huge amount to us if as many people were there as possible.. and when you are there please feel free to go mental, dance and sing when we get on stage (just make sure you are singing the right song!)

Tickets are £8.50 in advance or on the door until 7pm, then they are £11 after, so get your tickets early.

Studios, Rio Ferdinand, Banter and Sixes & Sevens

After two days recording at Jim Riley’s, Ranscombe Studio in Rochester, we have now finished out latest CD… called Sixes & Sevens.

In between reading about Rio Ferdinand’s dislike of ‘banter’ on Match of The Day, we managed to get three brand new songs recorded – Storyteller, Love is Lost and Major, Major.

We’re currently just finishing off the artwork and then the CDs will be available at out next gigs. For now, the new songs are available for a listen on Facebook, Myspace or on the Music page of this site.

Just a quick note to thank everybody for the truly amazing support at our recent Jar Music Industry showcase gig at the O2 Islington Academy Bar.

We had excellent feedback from an record company insider and are hopeful of being invited back to play the final showcase at the main Islington Academy venue in October

Whilst the new site may not be quite as flashy as previous incarnations, it is far easier for us to manage. This will help us keep you updated with our latest news and gossip on a far more regular basis.
